Balluff Pressure sensors

Balluff Pressure sensors

Process pressure, hydraulic pressure and vacuum monitoring

BSP pressure sensors monitor pressures of gaseous and fluid media; they can also be used in a variety of ways in factory automation. Available with stainless steel housings are designed for the demanding requirements of extended temperature ranges and harsh environments.

With your rotational housing and the simple, VDMA-compliant programming, they can be flexibly mounted as well as conveniently serviced. Using the bright LED Display, you can track current system pressure quickly and reliably.

Direct pressure monitoring in production on-site

Our pressure transmitters are used to monitor such processes as coolant and lubricating agents, hydraulic oils and pneumatics. Pressure transmitters with IO-Link (interface) relay measurements and additional diagnostic information to the controller continuously.

Simple sensor replacement with Plug-and-Play.

With no complicated parametrisation sensor replacement is simple – plug and play. Additionally, parameter data can be transferred and duplicated automatically from the control unit. Time and cost savings can be achieved, as well as error reduction during commissioning.

Pressure sensors with IO-Link can be installed at the ideal position in terms of measurement technology, i.e. at the point where the pressure is to be measured. Thanks to their central parametrisation, they no longer need to be accessed. This guarantees quick and precise results. And saves costs as time-consuming mechanical installations of hydraulic lines are minimised.

Pressure sensors with display monitor vacuum suction pressure and thus ensure positive engagement.

High-end sensors mounted flush

Pressure sensors

Our BSP flush mounted pressure sensors are most appropriate for pressure measurement in viscous, paste-like, crystallized or solids-containing media. For example with glues, greases, sealing compounds or frequently changed media.

Because of their front-flush welded stainless steel membrane, the sensors have no dead space and can be especially well cleaned. Monitoring of the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid makes positioning possible even at close distance to the tank, for example when draining.

The IO-Link interface provides access to t all the data and make the data available for the PLCs and diagnostic systems.

In SIO mode the sensors operate with a freely switching point and analogue current interface.

The features

  • Free of dead space and easy to clean
  • Convenient with a very legible display
  • Compact and robust as a transmitter
  • Pressure range –1…400 bar
  • Process connection in high-end stainless steel G1/2″ or 1½ Tri-Clamp “
  • IP67 or IP69k
  • Output as 4…20 mA, 0…10 V, switching points (NPN/PNP) and IO-Link
  • Pressure values directly via IO-Link
